Since graduating from Cal Poly Pomona my work has primarily focused on addressing the unique challenges of renovation projects.  My experience started with retail renovations primarily, but for the past 7 years I have focused almost exclusively on healthcare work.  I enjoy the complexity of the healthcare projects and have even gravitated toward the equipment heavy projects since I especially enjoy the cross discipline coordination.

After completing the licensure process in 2013, I joined the AIA in hopes of becoming increasingly involved with the organization.  In my first year as a member, I attended the National Convention, where I caught a glimpse of the influence that the AIA offers.  Last year I also relocated to Long beach, and have since joined the Long Beach | South Bay Chapter.  I then immediately decided to take on a leadership role with the Board.  I’m excited about current initiatives the AIA has taken on at a national level, and I’m looking forward to making our own impact at the local level.
