Second+PCH: Planning Issues and Advocacy Opportunities

A behind-the-scene presentation of the planning, architectural, and
developmental issues related to the proposed 2nd and PCH project in Long
Beach, featuring Alan Pullman, AIA representing the design team, and
Clifford Ratkovich and David Malmuth representing the developer. The
presentation will focus on larger-scale issues surrounding the design, public
controversies, environmental mitigation, and zoning regulations. The
presentation will also include a discussion of local AIA Advocacy led by
Jonathan Glasgow, AIA. This will include determining appropriate positions
for the AIA to take on the presented project, as well as on other projects
throughout the chapter area.
